Chris Ferguson opens 2026 with pair of seventh-place outings with World of Outlaws
Making his 2026 debut, Chris Ferguson showed up to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon to kick off a doubleheader with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series before heading over to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday night.
Charging from 14th-to-7th during opening night, Ferguson started closer to the front in Saturday's $20,000-to-win feature and recorded his second Top-10 finish of the weekend with another seventh-place run.
