Ferguson finishes 12th in Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora Speedway

Making the trip to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale, Chris Ferguson joined a field of 59 Super Late Models for the 45th-annual Dirt Track World Championship.

Chris rolled out of the trailer fast as he qualfiied fourth-quickest in his stacked group and outdueled his cousin Carson for the heat race win. Ferguson was slated for the pole position of the 100-lap, $100,000-to-win finale. Chris ran inside the Top-5 for the first half of the A-Main before fading further back to 12th.
