Fourth-place outing in Bama Bash opener with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Chris Ferguson returned to racetrack for the two-day Bama Bash with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) over the weekend.
Among a huge 50-car field on Saturday, Ferguson laid down the third-quickest lap in his qualifying group before taking the checkered flag in his heat race. Starting on the outside pole of the $8,000-to-win opener, Chris wound up with a Top-5 finish in fourth. He trailed Dale McDowell, Zack Mitchell, and Garrett Alberson while Ashton Winger completed the Top-5.
The following evening, Chris did not make the $12,000-to-win finale after finishing seventh in a last chance qualifier.
