Chris Ferguson earns Top-10 in World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Chris Ferguson rolled into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon and unloaded his No. 22 machine for the 55th-running of the World 100.
Ferguson opened up the long weekend with a podium outing in the first $12,000-to-win preliminary feature. Chris started eighth in the 25-lapper and finished behind Jonathan Davenport and Chris Madden. In Friday's prelim action, Chris fell back in his heat race, but still managed a ninth-place finish in the prelim feature.
Slated for the third-row of a heat race after the invert, Ferguson did not make up any spots and was forced to earn his spot from a B-Main. Chris started 26th in the $72,000-to-win finale and stormed through the field over 100 laps. Ferguson returned with a eighth-place finish and a Top-10 in the crown jewel.
