Ferguson competes in Independence Shootout at Senoia over Fourth of July weekend

Over Fourth of July weekend, Chris Ferguson followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday evening for the one-day, $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.

Ferguson grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race and recorded a 19th-place finish in the 50-lap feature.
