Chris Ferguson just misses FloRacing Night in America event ahead of Prairie Dirt Classic
With the 34th-running of the Prairie Dirt Classic on the horizon, Chris Ferguson checked into Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway early for the FloRacing Night in America event on Wednesday evening.
With a stacked 65-car field on hand, Ferguson missed the mark in qualifying before making up two spots in his heat race to finish seventh. Needing a Top-2 finish in his B-Main, Chris came up just short in fourth.
Hoping to find more speed heading into the PDC weekend, Ferguson qualified 22nd-fastest in his group before finishing 15th in his showdown feature.
Starting towards the back of his last chance showdown on Saturday, Chris only made up three spots to finish 12th which ended his weekend early.
