Chris Ferguson treks to Smoky Mountain Speedway for Mountain Moonshine Classic
After a busy weekend at Eldora, Chris Ferguson was right back in action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Mountain Moonshine Classic.
With 42 Late Models in the pit area, Ferguson transferred to the $10,000-to-win opener and recorded an 18th-place finish.
On Saturday for the $50,000-to-win finale, Chris was unable to make a qualifying lap after mechanical issues arose. Charging through his heat and B-Main, Ferguson still came up a few spots short of making the feature.
