Chris Ferguson pilots Doug Sanders' No. 42 for HTFSDS weekend at Swainsboro

With tough luck causing his primary car to be unavailable, Chris Ferguson hopped into Doug Sanders No. 42 machine at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series weekend.

Kicking off the Southern Showcase on Friday, Ferguson qualified seventh-fastest in his group and finished third in the last chance qualifier. Starting 15th with $5,000 on the line, Chris made up four spots to finish 11th.

For Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Ferguson started towards the rear and wound up 17th when the checkered flag flew.

Ferguson is currently third in the HTFSDS point standings.
