Fifth-place finish in Southbound Throwdown at All-Tech Raceway

Continuing his pursuit for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series title, Chris Ferguson made the trip to the Sunshine State on Friday for the two-day Southbound Throwdown at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.).

With a third-place run in his heat race pinning him on the eighth row for the opener, Chris passed eight cars in the 40-lap feature to register a seventh-place finish.

On Saturday, Ferguson stormed into the $15,000-to-win Southbound Throwdown finale with a fifth-to-first showing in his heat. Starting in third, Chris battled a tight car to a fifth-place finish, trailing Joseph Joiner, Scott Bloomquist, Carson Ferguson, and Brandon Overton across the line.

Ferguson sits 18 markers behind Brandon Overton for the lead in the latest Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
