Podium finish in Bama Bash at Talladega Short Track
Chris Ferguson joined a field of 46 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series entries for the tour opener on Saturday afternoon at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) aboard his Diff-Tran Machining No. 22 Late Model.
After claiming the overall fast time honors with a blistering 13.327-second lap in time trials, Ferguson stormed into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a flag-to-flag victory in his heat race. Moving forward one spot when the checkers flew in the 50-lap affair, Chris posted a third-place finish, which came behind Brandon Overton and Cory Hedgecock.
