Ferguson visits Swainsboro Raceway for Southern Showcase
A pair of events with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series over the weekend brought Chris Ferguson to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) to pilot his Live Oak Aesthetic and Family Dentistry No. 22 Late Model.
Pinned on the 10th row for the Southern Showcase opener via a runner-up run in his B-Main, Ferguson faded to finish 19th after getting turned around lap 14 of the 30-lapper.
On Saturday, Chris’ fifth-to-third showing in his heat race positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the $23,000-to-win finale. He suffered a flat right-rear tire while running 10th on lap 57 that dropped him to 17th in the finishing order.
